Injection moulding
Our moulding floor produces finished components from moulds made in our own toolroom, for our own product lines and for customers' parts.
What we produce
We mould functional and technical components for mining, warehousing, retail, agriculture and general industry. Typical work includes protective products, clips and fixings, housings and components for equipment.
Production runs from first sample batches to scheduled repeat orders. Minimum runs start at 500 parts for parts with a cycle of about a minute, and 1 000 parts for parts that mould in 30 seconds or less. Most of our orders are 10 000 units and up.

Quality on the floor
For a new product, the first part off the machine is checked against your specification before production starts. Once the machine settings are saved, every tenth part is checked during the first hour of the run. After that, parts are selected at random every hour for inspection until the run is complete.
